Built for software platforms
The GBL-SMUG connects to your backend over HTTP or MQTT over 4G while it keeps feeding scans to the local POS over USB. Your server receives every decode in real time, even with no WiFi or LAN on site.
USB pass-through, cloud over 4G
The GBL-SMUG passes scans through to your existing POS exactly as before, and simultaneously uploads the same scan data to your platform over a built-in 4G IoT SIM. The original workflow is untouched — and the cloud link works anywhere with cellular coverage.
One API for the whole fleet
Device registration, online status, remote configuration and firmware updates all run through the same OpenAPI surface as every other Gobilink device, so adding the GBL-SMUG is a configuration change, not a new project.
