USB only, by design
This is a USB-only model. It has no Wi-Fi or 4G modem and no cloud connection of its own: it presents itself to the host as a standard USB HID device, so every decode is typed straight into whichever field or application has focus. There is no driver to install, no network to provision and nothing to register online.
Plug in and scan
The GBL-SMU plugs into a PC, register or iPad and is recognised without a driver. It is the lowest-friction way to add fast code capture to an existing checkout.
Works with the POS you already run
Because the host simply sees keyboard input, any POS, ERP or browser-based till that accepts typed input accepts the GBL-SMU without integration work. Any cloud layer stays in your own software on the host, where it belongs.
